Manage an in-house studio of designers, developers, and a photographer in creating an award wining, best in class web and print program for one of America’s most prominent medical centers. Oversee branding, design, production, standards development, and implementation for web and print materials for the medical college, hospital, and affiliates.

Designed and developed websites and applications for Weill Cornell Medical College and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital using standards compliant XHTML, CSS, Flash, and Javascript.

FREELANCE GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Minneapolis - New York - 2002-2006

Worked for a variety of not-for-profit organizations on a per-project basis. Developed identity systems, web sites, promotional materials, and publications for a number of arts, educational, community development, and cultural institutions and events.

SERVICE BUREAU PRINT ASSOCIATE

Minneapolis College of Art and Design Service Bureau Minneapolis, MN - 2001—2002

Assisted Students, professors, and staff by producing professional quality digital output from digital files and original artwork on a variety of media. Managed and maintained a bank of digital photo lab computers, Epson Printers, and Nikon slide scanners. Assisted in light technical support and demonstrated digital file preparation and pre-press processes.

WEB DESIGNER

Oakdale Systems Inc. Iowa City, IA - Minneapolis, MN - 1998—2001

Helped start a web division for a mid-sized custom software firm. Worked on layout and interface design for an early multimedia e-commerce music distributor in 1998, designed and implemented a database driven web publishing application for an African-American media startup in 2000.
